Studytracks wins Start-Up of the Year at the ERA's
Studytracks, the revolutionary student study app and brain child of Ivor Novello award winner George Hammond-Hagan, has been credited with one of the education sector’s highest accolades: an Education Resource Award.
Studytracks was named Start-up of the Year at the Education Resources Awards on Friday night; the awards honour the quality and diversity of products supporting learning in schools.
“We were blown away just to be shortlisted for Start-Up of the Year; winning truly has been the icing on the cake, and a real testament to the hard work everyone on the team has put in to getting Studytracks off the ground. I have a feeling that 2017 is going to be an exciting year for us, and we are extremely grateful for this recognition.” Said George.
It has been an amazing year and things just got even more interesting! Last Friday we went up to the Education Resources Awards as we had been nominated in the Start-Up of the Year category - amazing enough in that we're just a year old and to get the recognition was fantastic.
We dressed up in black tie, networked with some fantastic people, had a dinner in a glitzy event and when our award was announced we were shocked - but so happy. It has been a long journey and we're nowhere near the finishing line, and we have worked with lots of brilliant people along the way, so after this award, we can't wait to see what's next.
We have big plans, and there's a lot more to come from Studytracks! Thanks to all at Besa (especially Nina) and at the ERA's for awarding this to us, we'll be back next year for another category for sure!
